The Deacons of Penelope Baptist Church are servants of God chosen by the standards laid out in the Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 3. At Penelope the Deacons assist the Pastor in caring for the congregation through The Flock Ministry. Each Deacon is assigned families connected to the church. They essentially have their own "Flock" to help care for. The Deacon then provides spiritual & emotional help for their Flock alongside the Pastor.
